Don't Worry, I'm Not Dead

Boy, I've been away for quite some time, haven't I? Blogging is something you have to love and be willing to devote hours to with little reward or response. Last year, I had blogged pretty consistently leading up to the November 2nd elections in this country, but it had taken quite a toll out of me. I no longer felt the desire to blog and subsequently faded out of the picture. I've been meaning to pick this up again over the summer but that lapsed for one reason or another. A lot has happened in the world since my last update on March 17th. I'm going to do a re-start of this blog of sorts and hopefully have some good intellectual discussions.
